Many units near Capel Street and the north city quays arrive with awkward columns, tight rear yards, and windows that face busy pavements. We protect sightlines to the street for marketing while giving clients a calmer seat once inside.
Wet areas, sterilisation, and towel flow are planned with Irish plumbing realities—not copied from overseas salon magazines.
Stations that respect shoulders and cables
Chair pitch, trolley depth, and power drops decide whether a shop feels premium or cramped. We set clearances so two barbers never clash elbows mid-fade.
Mirror lighting is treated as a trade tool: even, flattering, and serviceable when a lamp fails on a Friday evening.

Benches, coat hooks, and a retail ledge earn their floor area. We avoid oversized lounges that steal a revenue chair for a look that photographs once.
Acoustic softening and dark charcoal planes keep clippers from turning the room into an echo box.
Brand fit as spatial decisions
Typography on the window means little if the interior contradicts it. We align materials, amber accents, and furniture weight with the shop’s actual clientele—student-friendly or grooming-led—without keyword decoration.
